Dear Fundraiser:
After being approached by many worthy causes to contribute art for fundraising purposes, I came up with an idea that would increase the value of my gift many-fold and which could be accomplished by you right at your computer!
Here’s my idea: You can raise money easily for your cause by signing up with a Fundraising Art Print Sale with Jax in 5 easy steps.
Step 1. Talk to Jax! Establish a time period for your fundraising event (for example - a month long sale beginning in March, 2010).
Step 2. Pick a painting from any of Jax’s art galleries on her website – www.artbyjax.com - that you think would best promote your cause. For example, if your cause is based on a medical foundation, you might want to choose the Blue Angel of Healing. But feel free to suggest ANY painting on the site and there is a lot from which to choose. I will donate a copy of your chosen print to your cause for display, order taking, auction, etc, purposes.
3. Jax then gives you a website link at etsy.com which shows an image of your print and contains descriptions of the work and a shopping cart where the prints may be purchased for your cause. Prints are 11 x 14 for $20 plus $5 shipping. Your cause earns 40% (or $8. per print) of the sales of that print during your established time period. So instead of earning $20 at an auction for one of my art prints, if your supporters order 50 art prints, my gift is worth $400! That makes me feel great because I am able to donate more money to your cause in that way.
4. You send the fundraising information and purchase link to your email contact list and press contacts which encourage people to purchase. You can even take orders in person at an event and place a large order for the prints all at once.
5. Jax sends you your raised funds at the end of your sales time period. What could be easier!!!!?
